Though the site is down right now, they should be back on tomorrow, but this
link will (eventually) take you to a place where you can learn all about your
batteries and their ills.  Check ALL  his stuff when you have time...much to
be learned in a friendly way.  Keep the link and keep trying and you'll be
glad you did.

As to your batteries, if they're getting hot and boiling, their probably
history.  Heat warps plates, plates touch each other, time for new batteries
AND  a known-to-be-good THREE STAGE charger to make the new batteries last
long.
