[VAL] Re: cracked counter



Dan,

If it's a plastic sink and counter like mine (1979), the counter can be 
removed by drilling out rivets and removing trim strips, a few screws 
holding it down to aluminum extrusions and to the plywood partition to 
the right. Disconnect plumbing and it's out. Fiberglass cloth and epoxy 
patch to the backside is very effective. Mine has cracked at pressure 
points- particularly screw locations.
