Patti has the 2500 Suburban, it may be a 4-wheel drive, I'm not sure.  But,
the Flying Cloud weighs about 2,000# and it's attached to the receiver hitch
with a Reese setup with the anti-sway bars and equalizers I believe.

Even if she were to remove the bars (equalizing bars) I seriously doubt that
the 2-300# of tongue weight would drop the rear of the 2500 series Suburban
down enough (if at all) to "raise" the rear end of the Flying Cloud.

The "bottom line" (humorously here!) is that Patti needs to get the short
wheelbase 1500 2-wheel drive Suburban.  Now, Patti will fight tooth and nail
I am sure BUT, it's for her own good; and the good of the Flying Cloud and
it's spare tire holder.
