I saw a metal back type repair kit for thetford the other day at an rv
place ,so they must be out there , I`d keep looking for one rather than
reinventing the plastic one . I`d go back and get it , but it was halfway
across the state ,and I wont be headed that way for awhile . Mail me off
list , I`ll tell you where it was , maybe they would ship it to you .
