Those rods you refer to are called "roll pins". They are 'C' shaped and compress when forced into an opening. The roll pins are made of spring steel I presume. If you have any Kroil -- penetrating oil -- that works wonders for stuck things. Kano Labs of Tennessee makes Kroil. I wouldn't be without it for those "frozen" times. Tom
