All,
There's a mystery plate above the hanging locker in my 1969 Caravel.
It's on the streetside inner vinyl-clad skin a bit above the storage shelf.
It's 5' 6" off the floor and 6" aft of the forward bulkhead that separates
the locker from the galley. The vinyl-clad plate itself is 1 1/2" high and
2 1/4" wide.
As if to make sure no one misses it, there's a 6" arrow drawn directly
below it in pencil pointing straight up at it. The arrow is about chest
high in the lower hanging locker.
Does anyone have a guess as to what's under that plate and what purpose
the contents (wires, 12v. or 110v. possibly), has?
The screen saga drags on. The smallest spline I could find is still too
small to fit, even by itself, much less with the screen too, into the 1/8"
slot. I'll go on another spline search at the other screen shop in town
tomorrow.
Thanks,
Glyn Judson
