CPVC is for both hot and cold water while PVC is for cold only.
Installers use PVC on cold water lines because it is a little cheaper
than CPVC.
Underground water lines, including water mains, are often PVC. Whether
the last few feet of water supply line, the part in your RV, is of PVC or
not makes little difference.

Harbor Freight has been running a digital volt-ohm-amp meter for $3.99
recently. It goes to 750 VAC, 1000 VDC and 10 amps DC.
