Thanks for info. But if the wood has to be fitted up under the
channel at the bottom of the skin, and then fitted to each other, where
does one get the space to fit them together - spline to slot? It seems
to me the pieces have to butt tightly into each other and then each
piece has to be elevator bolted to the frame. No?
