There is a big price difference between Thetford valves and Valterra valves.
You heard the old adage "you get what you pay for".
I replaced my dump valves last year and went back with the Thetford.
Figured if the ones that were on the trailer lasted 25-30 years,
then I'd go back with the same brand and not have to replace them in a few
years.
When I was working at Suncoast RV we used to have people come in all the time
to have their Valterra valves replaced.
