Does anyone know if LED interior lights are marketed for RV 12 VDC use?
Perhaps the LEDs sold for replacing back-up lights (1156's, perhaps etc.) would 
work for existing 12 V bulb RV interior fixtures. As they are intended to replace 
21 watt back-up and other single filament signal bulbs they might be rather 
bright, but the power draw would be reduced to a tiny fraction of incandescents. 
Heat would be virtually eliminated. They draw much less power than fluorescents, 
too.
One Internet source offers them for $5 each, not much more than the little 12 V 
floodlight reading lamp bulbs in our fixtures.
