A question for Dr. J:   Do you think that it would be practical to run a
small refrigerator on an inverter, batteries and solar cells?  Home Depot
sells a 6 or 8 cubic foot refer/freezer that runs on 1.3 amps at 120volts.
That works out to 156 watts, or 13 amps at 12 volts.  Seems like it could be
done, and a lot cheaper than a propane refer (no fuel to buy).  How much
battery capacity, inverter size, and solar cell size do you think it would
need?
