[VACList] free Membership in WBCCI and VAC / Assigning Trailer Numbers

I think I have heard that with the purchase of a new Airstream you can
recieve a trial membership in WBCCI gratis. Is that correct?

What about with the purchase of a used Airstream?
If so, how much time after actual title transfer does the offer stand?
Is it a full and regular membership that you recieve?
VAC membership is not gratis under any circumstance ...correct ?

About the number assigned and asking for a particular number;
1.)If the number is expired and not in current use does that automatically
mean you can get it assuming you are the first to ask?  Or is it all
subjective and up to the whim of someone at headquarters?

2.)What constitutes expired? Missing dues for ___how long? or Does the
previous owner of a number have to relinquishit in writing? or what?

3.)Will they furnish a list of what is available?

4.)Have some numbers been "retired" ? Surely #1 has ! Does anyone know which
numbers have been "retired"?

5.)Are numbers ever held on a waiting list for members?

6.)Is it a hassle if allowed at all to change numbers later on?

7.)Do you have to ask for a particular number singularly? or can you submit a
list in preference order and someone will go down your list til they find an
available number.

or is all the above wrong? <g>

I have "owned" my Airstream for a year now and am yet to transfer title.
Can't stand those courthouse lines.
