No, the key is in the hitch. It connects at the rear axle of the tow vehicle. NO LEVER, NO SWAY. Our trailers connect at the rear of the vehicle. Therefore there is a lever and there is sway. The trailer when pushed around by air currents will push around the tow vehicle = sway. Scott Scheuermann
