I use a 2.5 gal elect water heater in my trailer . Ibought it at Lowes I have 
it set very hot and find that it works very well We have to use enought cold 
water when taking a shuwer that there is sufficent hot water to take a decent 
shower. the tank has a quick recovery it is 1350 watt. For our purpose it is 
ideal.
