RE: [VACList] hitch-up mirror

A quick search of the Campers Choice and Camping World on-line catalogs
didn't turn up the solo hitch up mirror that I utilize, but a web search
did.  The mirror can be found at:

For some reason, the price has increased tremendously since I purchased
mine in 1995.  In 1995, I paid $29.95 (President's Club Price) at
Camping World - - today, it is listed on-sale at $69.98 - - the
attachment method has been changed from magnetic to clip-on (clip-on may
actually be a better idea as I am constantly struggling to find a large
enough surface on the hitch to get the magnet to properly seat).

The feature that I have really appreciated with this mirror is that it
works equally as well with my car as with the Suburban (and earlier with
the pickup) - - the mirrors are on adjustable brackets that slide up and
down the pole and are tightened with a thumb-screw.

A second possibility, but it works only with pickups or SUVs that have a
traditional tailgate - - and then it doesn't necessarily work with all
tailgates as the bracket only accommodates rather thin tailgates.  This
