remember, you do not actually stand in the shower pan.  it is an underlayment
designed to protect against leakage of your actual tub or shower floor that you
place inside and over the sides of the pan.
Thus, when you crack the tub or shower floor from putting something besides
bedding in the tub while traveling, that SS pan will catch the leakage and drain
it out of the trailer via a tube instead of being without it, and rotting out
the plywood floor.  Also, helps prevent sweating if properly installed.

also, the pink will not be seen or you can paint it with epoxy paints that come
in pressurized cans., yada.
