[VACList] "Historic Vehicle" License Plates

The State of Ohio allows owners of vehicles that are at least 25 years
old (the vehicle, not the owner :-) to purchace "Historic Vehicle" license
plates.

There is a one time charge of about $15, and are good for basically as
long as you own the vehicle (Mine expire in 2050). You DO need a title
as proof of the vehicle's age.

You can also get personalized plates, however there is an annual fee
for those.

One of the neat things about this, besides not having to pay to re-register
the vehicle every year, is that you are allowed to use "vintage" license
plates, that match the year of the vehicle.

So, I could put 1977 "Trailer" or "House Vehicle" plates on my 1977
trailer. If anyone runs across one of these, please let me know. They
are white with red letters/numbers, and do not have a year on them,
as we had gone to "stickers" by that point. I have searched flea markets
and eBay, but no luck so far....

There IS a restriction in that you are only supposed to have the vehicle
on the road for shows, parades or "club" activities. Well, I figure just
about every trip I go on is a WBCCI "activity" :-)

A big thanks to Scott Scheuermann, who mentioned this last year!
