Brad,
On most Vista Views both inside and outside is glass.  You have to VERY 
carefully break out the inside glass (put down plastic first).  The hard part is 
breaking the inside without cracking or breaking the outside glass too.   Once 
you have the inside glass out you can get the Mylar stuff off of the outside 
pane.   Your local Airstream repair place will have the vinyl channel that holds 
in the outside pane.  I've got the channel but haven't done mine yet.  My local 
A/S dealer wanted quite a bit to do it, I guess because of the risk.
