Ron,
The Airstream web site lists the weights of 3 1957 22 foot trailers - a
Caravaner at 2485, Caravanner "S" at 2800, and Flying Cloud at 2730.  They
don't list a Safari in 1957, (which dosen't mean a whole lot, they don't
list my '86 345 motorhome, either.) These are listed as dry weights. The
Safari should be close to these weights.  You have to add the weight of
options, propane, water, full holding tanks, tv set, food, clothes and other
things you carry to that.  Unless the Safari weighs close to the Caravanner
and you pack it real light, its probably going to go over your limit.
