[VACList] bought a trailer without a title thru online auction

lost titles are easy but that does not get you one that protects YOU from
charges of theft, etc.
suggest that you pursue your options thru the Sheriff of the county in which the
seller lives.  btw, by now, your seller should be quite po'd because he should
now be banned from ebay.
so, you are not going to get anything voluntarily out of this guy.
hope you kept a copy of the auction and of the check you paid him with.

And, it is entirely possible that you are now guilty of receiving stolen goods.
