Probably the most direct way of obtaining a "pole type" awning would be
through a local vendor.  Have you tried checking your local yellow pages for
"tent and awning makers"?  Many of them will custom sew an awning for an RV
if provided with the desired measurements - - it is often possible to get
fabrics that will closely duplicate those utilized by the awning
manufacturers of the general era of the trailer.
