This would apply for any year:

Check all water lines, fixtures and water heater under pressure.
Check AC, fridge, and furnace. If these are original, you may be looking at
replacement.
Check tires for ware and cracks in the sidewalls. The tread may look good,
but they could be old tires.
Check brakes

All of the items can be expensive to repair and or replace.
