Usually there is a small 1/4" flange on the door that slips up into a slot in the top of the door opening, and then the door is held in place with the keylock on the bottom - no latches or hinges required. Maybe someone with a '66 to '68 trailer could take a picture of theirs and send it to you. Best of luck, RJ
