Do you have a battery in the trailer?  If not, hook one up and see if you
have 12v power.  If there's no power that way, check the 12v distribution
panel for a blown fuse.

More than likely the converter is bad.  Can you hear it hum?  On these old
converters, if it ain't humming it ain't working.
