*IF* you can get all the water out then you can get
away without using antifreeze. The operative word being "if". Where I live temps
can get to -20F. Even though I thoroughly blow out the system on my '60, I look
at the few bucks spent on antifreeze as cheep insurance against busted water
pipes.
