[VAC] 120 wires in kitchen,exterior

Veritable sagacious compadres,
  I haven't had 120v. power to the Exterior outlet or its interior 
counterpart above the kitchen counter since we've inhabited our beloved 
"SILVER SURFER, Aurv " (hoping I'm not stealing anyones handle) These wires 
do not appear to be routed under the belly (where rustoleum and black enamel 
painting are nearing completion)I have one aluminum romex set near the 120v 
circuit box not hooked up and will bundle them in a wire nut and check for 
continuity at the plug, but thought I'd ask if anyone thought that these 2 
outlet recepticles had one dedicated line. I found that the duplex outlet 
was not AU rated and suspect that the original had problems and the circuit 
was droppped.  I'll hook it up when we are around for a while and maybe make 
toast or other high amp activities to test. Lovin' every minute of it!
