People have tried the styrofoam boards beneath the floor - maybe they'll chime in. it sounds like a good idea to me - as I remember, they screwed them in with long screws (and a washer) from the bottom. I can imagine that would be a pain in the biscuits unless doing a frame-off resto. Toby
