[VAC] mattress

There is another possibility for mattresses in most urban areas. I have
found custom mattress shops in most larger urban areas that cater to the
home market, but will gladly accommodate RVers when provided with
dimensions and/or diagrams. In the greater Quad Cities area of
Illinois/Iowa there is a firm by the name of Lebeda Mattress - - they
have a very wide selection of mattresses any one of which can be made to
the custom dimensions of an RV. I chose their very best Extra Firm
mattresses for the center twins of my Overlander, and they are among the
most comfortable mattresses I have ever owned - - In face when I
purchased a new bed for my home it cam from the same store and was the
same model. Both beds in the Overlander ran a total of $750.00 - - the
price range for a pair ran from $375 to the $750 premium set that I
ordered.

I was exploring around my hometown in far Southern Illinois over the
past few days and ran across three different custom mattress shops with
similar prices. The nice part about dealing with a "local" firm is that
you can actually examine the quality both materials and "sleepability"
of the proposed mattress.
