[VAC] epoxy to fix soft floor at door?

i took another look and i'm pretty sure i will
need to do some sort of patching or section
replacement just in fornt of the door. the
flooring that the previous owner ripped up took
some layers of the plywood with it leaving it
very thin and sketchy - and there are some badly
placed bolts that appear to be doing nothing
functional.

i will post pictures in a week or two and re-ask
for advice then.
