[VAC] wandering van update

We finally took our van back to the alignment place.
They rechecked it and said that everything is to
specifications. However, there is no doubt that the
thing tracks terribly now compared to before the
alignment. On the other hand, there was excessive
tire wear before. But it was in the middle of the
tires, despite fairly low running pressures.

In accordance with previous advice, I also made sure
they checked the caster and camber. They said they
didn't change these the first time (there is an extra
charge if they do) and that both are also in spec.

The toe-in is supposedly at 0.06". To me, this seems
kind of low. Does anyone know if this is correct?

Also, when checked with a rigid tape measure, the
front end seems as though it is actually toed out
slightly. I know that tape measurements are iffy, but
I'm only using the thing as a comparator in a locked
position.

It's kind of frustrating to be stuck on tow vehicle
problems instead of restoring the unit itself! Please
help!
