Terry, when was the last time that you were at Billy Pollards and were able
to look through their Airstream Quonset huts? I made a detour specifically
to go by Billy Pollards last year about this time and their parts manager,
Brenda Heil, told me there was no bone yard or parts buildings I could look
through. She said if I had specific parts I needed, she would be glad to
check for me to see if they had them. She found a couple of small items I
wanted -- window crank handles, etc. It all seemed to be in the same
building as the office. I was hoping to poke around and see what else I
could find -- aluminum wheels, awning hardware, door step extension or ???
Nice folks and a big inventory of new Airstreams on the lot in all sizes we
got to look through.
