don't need a knife here, just let the rotties play with them for awhile and they
start splitting apart.

point is, any small/ 3" diam ball will work.

and again, it takes very little grease.  do clean the grease off both the male
and female surfaces if they get sandy as the sandy grease will wear the hitch
and the ball very quickly.
