[VAC] Re: tongue set-up



Dick,
  I'd do as you suggest for grounding: install a ground lug near your 
new fuse panel, then run jumpers to the frame and both inner and outer 
body shells. All new wiring run by you should have the white wire 
connected to this ground lug. As others have pointed out, be sure to use 
wire that's plenty heavy, especially to your 12-volt fridge and to the 
furnace and water pump. The lights aren't nearly as critical. The main 
battery wires should be #6 to minimize voltage drop.

And, yes, a 40-amp fuse should be fine for the "disaster" function.
