Some "vista view" window repairs can and do work. However, what works in 
Canada, is somewhat different from our desert states. The very hot sun, will 
usually cook the shim gasket, resulting in the glass coming loose. Replacing 
the windows is the only guaranteed "no leak" way. In either case, this is not 
a project that should be undertaken by a novice.  Andy
