Im afraid the "repair" of Vista View windows is not a simple task.

I have a '77 Sovereign with the same problem. I have yet to take the plunge 
to fix them, as the "fix" for that type involves breaking and removing the 
inside piece of glass.

If ANYONE has a better solution, I would love to hear it. I would be 
willing to drill out and replace the outside rivets, if necessary.
