[VAC] Re: univolt and fuses

  Try connecting the pump directly to the battery (or BATT terminal in 
the UniVolt), using a 20 or 30-amp circuit breaker for overcurrent 
protection. Gerald Johnson is probably correct that the starting current 
for the motor exceeds what the fuse can handle, and I don't think that 
those fuses are of the "time-delay" type that can stand time-limited 
overloads.
