For what it's worth I tow my 76 Airstream Land Yaht with a small 88 Jeep pickup with 6 cylinder fuel injected and automatic trans. Has been just wonderful. Only problem is it looks like a Jeep being pushed by a trailer, the trailer is so much larger...:-) I get about 15 MPG and have a 26 gallon tank.
