I am much attached to my silver "shark" vac, the one you have to get
down on your knees to use. It stows in a small space and really sucks
dirt.  It is not 12 V.

I suspect that you will be dissappointed in all the 12v vacs. They just
don't develope enough power for long enough to be much use, or else they
will drain your batteries big time. However, if you must :

Then, just above it there is the Hoky sweeper which runs on human
energy, it is like an old fashioned carpet sweeper, but it works on bare
floors too. It will get what you can't sweep off the carpet.

I had one and don't know where it went.
