My wife's 2000 Suburban (3/4 ton, 4x4, 6 liter, 4.10 rear) averages around
12 in town and 16 on the road.  Almost identical to figures for my 94
(3/4 ton, 350, 3.73 rear).  When pulling the 31' Sovereign, mileage dips
back to around 12-13 on the road.  I'm pleased with the gas mileage, but 
I wish hers had the 42 gallon tank.  10 gallons less is kind of a pain on
long trips.
