I have a rear bed Airstream, and I mounted my combination CO/Smoke detector 
in the rear of the trailer, in the curved part of the roof above the back 
window.

I used the "removable" Scotch/3M hooks to hang it (the smallest ones), so I 
didnt have to drill any holes.
