Just my two cents worth and I think there's a good reason to have theft
insurance.  Nothing will keep a determined thief from taking stuff off   you
unit.  I think the best defense against stuff happening is to be prepared
and lock what  you can, stow the rest, and take the lumps when they happen.
Then, I'd shoot the bastards if I catch them!
