If this is true, meaning the 12 volts, as a hot water heater, they will
be about worthless.  This is only 350 watts for the big heater, 29 amp. 
It will take it about two minute to heat a cup of water so it will be
warm enough to wash your hands.  
At home, I use an instant water heater that runs on 240 volt.  It draws
9000 watts and is only adequate.
