But, the Hensley folks infer that it is important that the strut be parallel
with the bracket.  I was thinking that it might have something to do with
the shear bolts.  If the attachment point to the bracket is too far off
parallel, it might increase the force necessary to shear the bolts due to
the lever binding affect?

Hope to hear back from the Hensley folks later today after they take a look
at the pictures I sent them.
