Kit,

I wouldn't advise towing anything heavier than a pop-up with your Cherokee
Sport.  It's got too short a wheelbase, the engine hasn't got enough power,
and the transmission is pretty weak (has a tendency to get really hot).  I
had one that I towed a Coleman with, and it just wasn't up to the job.
Traded it in on a Dodge pickup.
