[VAC] Ceiling Light Switches

Anybody know where to find the three way light switches that go in the
ceiling lights in the ' 68 Airstreams and I assume other models. It's the
kind with the round knob that you turn to light one bulb, turn again for two
lights, etc. up to all four bulbs lit. I can't locate switches with a stem
long enough to go through the plastic light cover that's held on with a nut
that threads on the switch stem. I tried three local electrical supply
places and nobody had a replacement switch.
