Jack I installed the Bargman seven pin connector on my truck, left the original on the trailer but cut the old end off that would connect to the tow vehicle. I installed a seven pin on it so that I could tow with any vehicle. It was a pain to get the wires on the trailer to match but worth the effort. Good luck Bobby
