If you have a normal Thetford toilet the R&R is simple. To remove the toilet
disconnect the water supply. Loosen the two nuts holding the toilet down.
One is located next to the flush pedal. The other is in the rear, easier to
access through the access hole by the rear of the seat. This will require a
LONG extension and a deep well socket, other wise you will need to be a
contortionist to remove the rear bolt. The tank to toilet seal is made of a
foam rubber material and available at any RV parts department.

I would not do the R&R unless you have good reason to suspect that the seal
is bad. IE water leakage after flushing or odor leakage. You WILL become
very intimate with the toilet if you do the R&R.
