Hey --jet,

You are right that there is a contradiction with the description of 
this Airstream.  

My floor didn't sag that much either except where there was *no* 
flooring under the 1/4in. plywood that was used to "update" and 
"strengthen" the floor.  The dry rot in my trailer (and I presume in 
most) occurred around the perimeter of the trailer, not the middle where 
you do most of the walking.

Except for the doorway, I've yet to hear of a trailer floor wearing out 
from foot traffic.

If you want a HUGE project and can get the trailer for <=$500...it 
*might* be worth it.  


Would love to see the pictures in question...could advise more from 
there.
