Jim,
 I'd install (at the least) a "catastrophe" fuse very near the battery,
probably in the negative lead. It should be sized at perhaps 50 amps.
The UniVolt that had the branch circuit fuses had a door on one end that
pulled open for access.

Connecting the Inteli-Power should be as simple as hooking up the Red to
the '+' side and both White wires to the '-' terminal. It's not
necessary to place the Charge Wizard in a location where you can see it,
but the little LED does tell you what mode it's in at the moment.
