Gerald: It is, in fact, very heavy-duty shrink wrap, commonly used for
boats. But the stuff's expensive, needs to be professionally applied, can
only be used once, and works best on irregular shapes, and can hold moisture
in pretty effectively. I think you're better off in the open, or if you
really think you need a cover, with a tarp-on-frame deal like you can by at
Northern Tool pretty cheaply. It keeps the snow load off the rig, allows air
circulation, doesn't abrade the trailer finish, and because it is reusable,
will be cheaper in the long run.
